Jet Blue From JFK: Book Before May 16 For $50 Off Future Travel

Jet Blue is offering a $50 voucher towards future flights for travel booked before May 16!  Airfare Watchblog has the details.  The main catch is you have to book the "future flight" during a block of time this fall.  Still, that's a pretty nice savings. 

Aruba Airfare From NYC: $262

The airfare watchdog blog says American Airlines is offering limited availability RT airfare to Aruba for $262.  Sounds nice about now -- with snow in the forecast for this weekend. 

Daytrip to Niagara Falls By Air

We have no idea if this is a good deal or not, but City Excursions is offering a day trip excursion to Niagara Falls, leaving from the city.  According to the City Excursions website:

Tour includes:
- Round trip airfare between New York and Buffalo

- Round trip transfers between Manhattan midtown hotels and airport

- Round trip transfers between Buffalo airport and Niagara Falls

- Half-day guided tour of Niagara Falls from American & Canadian sides

- Maid-of-the Mist boat ride (May-October) or Scenic Tunnels

- Buffet lunch at restaurant, with panoramic view of the Falls

We suppose there could be worse ways to blow $385 and 12-hours....

Spirit Air 2 Cent Madness

Airfare watchdog informs us that Spirit Air is running a wild promotion the next two days (until 1/16/2008) with fares as low as 2 cents.  Right now, it looks like the only wildly cheap fares left from NYC are to Fort Lauderdale (not bad!) and Detroit (oh well) at $8 one way. 

Escape New York on Virgin America

I just had a look at Virgin America's website.  I haven't flown this airline yet, but all my friends have given excellent reports.  It looks like they have an advance fare one way from JFK to San Francisco for $159.  Not bad...
